12. Version 0.8 Release Notes

qwIRC now has the ability to accept and display mIRC color codes. qwIRC supports the Ctrl+K color trigger and color numerics as per standard:

Ctrl+B - bold text on/off
Ctrl+U - underlined text on/off
Ctrl+R - reverse text on/off
Ctrl+O - plain text

Ctrl+K[nn,nn] color codes:

nn	color
00	white
01	black
02	blue
03	green

nn	color
04	red
05	brown
06	dk violet
07	orange

nn	color
08	yellow
09	lt green
10	teal
11	cyan

nn	color
12	lt blue
13	magenta
14	dr grey
15	lt grey

note:default text color is black text on a white background. event colors are currently hard-coded. window and event colors will be user-selectable in a minor version upgrade available very soon.

other new features/enhancements:
- channel nicklist is now drag/sizable
- channel nicklist now sorts op, voice and regular users properly
- channel nicklist now supports alphabetic hotkeys for quickjump to nick
- chat text automatically copies text when selected (no need for ctrl+c)
- ctrl+select copies color codes+chat text
- chat text window supports autoscroll during dragselect
- chat text window supports Ctrl+F find and F3 find next, shift-f3 find previous commands
- chat window supports multi-line text paste

bug fixes:
- text paste in version 0.7 caused client to crash (fixed)
